A practical framework for assessing design quality

Wednesday, 25 July 2018 at 5:30PM - 7:00PM
CBRE 55, Temple Row, Birmingham B2 5LS, UK
RTPI West Midlands

Please join us on 25 July 2018 for an interactive design seminar presented by Katie Kershaw from Node. The seminar will provide an introduction to the fundamental qualities of good design, drawing upon precedent projects to bring these concepts to life. Attendees will be provided with a matrix for assessing the design quality of a scheme, linked back to the NPPF and Planning Practice Guidance, which will be explained using practical examples. The seminar is intended to assist planners, whether in local authorities, private practice or working for a developer, and provide them with the necessary tools required to assess the design quality of proposals.
