This event will give you the opportunity to participate in an out-of-hours tour of The Engine Shed, to see first-hand the work undertaken by Historic Environment Scotland to transform and restore this former military depot, built in the early 1900s, into Scotland’s first dedicated building conservation centre.
The session will comprise a tour of the building followed by a showcase of current activities on the site, led by Historic Environment Scotland’s Dorothy Hoskins, Technical Outreach and Education Manager, and Brian Wilkinson, Activities and Events Manager.
This is a joint event between the RTPI’s Scottish Young Planners’ Network and the Central Scotland Chapter – all are welcome (free to RTPI members - non-RTPI members pay £5 on arrival).
Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be available on arrival.
The capacity of this event is limited to 24 places, therefore you must book inadvance to secure your place – please email Elaine Fotheringham at firstname.lastname@example.org by 25th January.
