Thursday, 23 August 2018 at 5:45PM - 7:15PM
Manchester Central Library
RTPI North West

Bob Phillips the chairman of the RTPI North West will be leading a guided tour and open discussion looking at Manchesters Squares and Public Realm. The tour will look at the way in which people use these spaces and on how well designed they actually are, as well as a general meandering and chat about all thing Urban Design, Planning and Manchester. This is a great chance to see some of Manchester’s public spaces through a new lens, critiquing design and asking, why is this like it is? and What could make it better?

The event will be finishing in Stevenson Square where all are encouraged to follow to the Port Street Beer House for further informal discussions and libations, should it take your fancy.

Meet outside the steps at Manchester Central Library at 5.45 for a 6.00 pm start.
