CPNI (Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure) is the United Kingdom government authority which provides protective security advice to businesses and organisations across national infrastructure.

CPNI will give a presentation that will provide an update on the security threats that people and infrastructure face.

The presentation will share the latest palette of counter-terrorism protective security measures available to the infrastructure and transport sectors.  It will also highlight the standards for security-mindedness to those using digital engineering tecniques and BIM in their design and construction activities.

This is an inter-professional event with ACE, CIBSE, ICE, Manchester Branch and Graduates & Students Committee, IStructE, Lancashire and Cheshire Regional Group and the RTPI. 

Networking opportunities.  Food and refreshments will be available from 5.30 pm.
