Borders Railway 2nd Anniversary Event

September 2017 marks the 2nd anniversary of the hugely successful reopening of the Borders Railway connecting Edinburgh through communities in Midlothian to the heart of the Scottish Borders.

Come by train via the Borders Railway to the Galashiels Interchange and hear from speakers from Transport Scotland, ScotRail and Scottish Borders Council. They’ll be covering the technical aspects and challenges in delivering the railway, ambitions for the franchise including the Borders Railway Economic Blueprint and the future of the rail line.

Booking: This event is free (exc. travel) but places must be booked. Please email by Monday 25th September to confirm your attendance.

Travel: We will meet at Edinburgh station beforehand – trains leave at 15.53pm from Waverley to arrive in Galashiels for 16.45pm.
