How City of Edinburgh Council and Homes for Scotland are changing the way we talk about housing

In recent years there has been a great deal of debate and activity around the issue of housing land. At times it has become polarised, and confusing to many planners and non-planners alike. This has been recognized nationally, in the Joint Housing Delivery plan for Scotland (2015) and the Independent Review of the Planning System.
Find out how the City of Edinburgh Council and Homes for Scotland have been working together to find a new, clearer way of measuring housing land and housing delivery.
After the presentations, there will be a chance for a general discussion on the issues raised and the opportunities arising.
Speakers: Ben Wilson and Alistair Harvey (City of Edinburgh Council), Nikola Miller (Homes for Scotland).

Cost: Free for RTPI Members/Students. Non-RTPI members are very welcome - £5 charge upon arrival.
