Bidwells New Logo For White BackgroundExpert EIA practitioners Bidwells LLP have teamed up with Howes Percival’s specialist planning lawyers to provide an LPA focused update on the 2017 EIA Regulations.

Howes Percival LogoJoin us as we discuss the most significant changes to the EIA regime for many years and what this means for Local Planning Authorities in Screening and Scoping as well as determining EIA Development.

The Government’s continued growth agenda has led to an unprecedented rise in legal challenges to planning permissions from objectors seeking to stifle development projects on EIA grounds.

This seminar will provide practical advice on the steps that should now be taken to ensure a robust EIA and determination process, and how key documents (including screening opinions, scoping opinions and committee reports) may be drafted robustly to minimise the risk of successful judicial review challenges.
