From £195 for the conference (with discount for RTPI members)
The RTPI is partnering with Connected Local Government Live, a two day festival of events, awards, workshops, masterclasses and showcases focused on a devolved and digitally enabled future.
9am to midday, Wednesday 28 June
On day one we invite you to take part in an exciting workshop from the RTPI, Future Cities Catapult and Idox, which explores how new technologies are disrupting and improving how we plan. Our expert speakers will describe:
- How new products and services from start-ups, local authorities and tech companies are transforming the planning system
- Why we need more innovation in planning
- How Greater London and Greater Manchester are using big data to map infrastructure networks and make it easier to plan for sustainable growth
- The implications for other local government services
As well as the planning workshop, a ticket (discounted for RTPI members) will entitle you to attend a range of briefings, masterclasses and innovation showcases related to digital development. Topics include digital inclusion, digital and data literacy, online security, public services and the mobile user. There will also be workshops similar to our own, focused on other local authority professions including social care, mobility, libraries and waste.
Please visit the Connected Local Government Live website to find out more and book your ticket. RTPI members can enter the discount code RTPIMember to claim £25 off the ticket price.
Tickets can be purchased for one or both days of the conference.
If you have any questions, please contact the event organisers.
