PQT '17: Housing the Nation and the Dynamics of Housing Delivery

Housing has been near the top of the UK policy agenda for some time – yet despite much rhetoric and serial policy tweaks little impact on the delivery of housing has resulted.

The timing of the event is designed to fall just after the much anticipated Housing White Paper. Our panel will discuss reactions to this and consider questions surrounding the operation of the planning system, the role of housebuilders, national government and key tools in helping deliver the quantity and quality of needed housing.

This year's panel will include:

  • Nigel Green: Winchester City Council
  • Cristina Howick: Partner – Planning, Peter Brett Associates
  • Daniel Lampard: Senior Director, Lichfields
  • Chair: Prof Gavin Parker: Director of Planning Programmes, University of Reading

Following the event our sponsors, Reading Real Estate Foundation, will kindly be providing drinks and pizza for all.
