Consultancy is another career option. We offer a wealth of information on many issues relating to consultacy, whether you are thinking of setting up your own practice or considering small amounts of freelance planning advice.

- The RTPI Trust can provide support to members of the RTPI and their families who are in genuine financial hardship.
- UK based RTPI members can claim tax relief on their membership subscriptions. For further information contact your local tax office. RTPI Members working in the European Union and beyond are advised to check with the appropriate authorities.
- RTPI Regions and Nations specialise in high quality low-cost CPD events. Make sure you are in contact with your local RTPI.
- Planning Aid is particularly interested in chartered members who are able to commit the time to support their work. In return, Planning Aid can provide opportunities to broaden your experience and improve your CV.
