Committees play a vital role in leading various strands of the RTPI’s work. Current priority areas include the impact of Brexit, the implementation of the international sustainable development agenda and the promotion of a diverse and inclusive profession.

We are seeking applications for membership to the following committees:

  • Audit
  • Membership and Ethics
  • Education and Lifelong Learning
  • Policy, Practice and Research
  • England Policy Panel
  • International

RTPI Chief Executive Victoria Hills said: “With the launch of the RTPI’s 2020-2030 Corporate Strategy early in the New Year, this is an exciting time for members to get involved – not only to have their say on the work of the Institute but also to help shape national and international policy and practice.

“All our committees are powered by the extraordinary work of RTPI members who volunteer their time, expertise and professional insight. Being a committee member is a rewarding experience, so don’t miss this opportunity to volunteer.”

Those who are already a member of a Committee will still need to re-apply for 2020. The RTPI is keen to encourage as wide and diverse a committee membership as possible so that the views, experience and knowledge of all our members will continue to enrich our work.

Applications must be made before 5pm on 1 December 2019. For further information, email governance@rtpi.org.uk or visit the RTPI website.

The RTPI is also seeking local representatives for its committees in the Nations and Regions – for further information, email sarah.woodford@rtpi.org.uk
