The Royal Town Planning Institute presents Mitchell Silver with honorary member lifetime award

The RTPI was delighted to present pastMitchell _membership _solo _small President of the American Planning Association with honorary lifetime membership of the Institute.

Cath Ranson, President of RTPI presented the honour on Saturday 20th September at Oxford University, at the Joint Planning Law Conference Dinner.  

Cath Ranson, President of the RTPI said: “Mitchell Silver is an internationally distinguished planner, creative thinker and visionary leader. He continues to be outstanding in his career, indeed, in whatever he involves himself with. Mitchell does everything to the best of his ability, with enthusiasm, flair and integrity. He has held impressive high level office roles in planning across the United States and is a mesmerising global speaker, he deserves this award and we welcome him as an esteemed member of the RTPI”.


Mr Mitchell has 27 years of experience in public and private sectors. He is internationally recognised for his leadership in the planning profession and his contributions to contemporary planning issues.
