Could you influence the future direction of the RTPI?
Nominations are now open for the 2020 RTPI Elections
The RTPI is inviting its members in the UK and around the world to get involved in the running of the Institute.
We are delighted to announce that in order to adopt an effective and standardised governance process, vacancies in the Nations and Regions will now be advertised alongside vacancies for the General Assembly and Board of Trustees. Nominations are open from 15 June and will close on 27 July.
Why stand for election?
2020 has been a year of exceptional change. In January we launched our 2020-2030 Corporate Strategy, and we have responded to the coronavirus outbreak by adapting our business practices at pace. Now, as we turn our attention towards recovery and plan ahead for a new normal, there couldn’t be a more important and exciting time to get involved in your Institute.
Could you help ensure we are delivering value for our members and contribute to our continued success? Do you want to be challenged, rewarded and broaden your planning experience? Do you want the opportunity to take part in the big discussions, debates and decisions that impact the profession?
We’re looking for a diverse range of nominations for positions on the Board of Trustees (the group responsible for the management of the RTPI’s affairs), the General Assembly (which provides a forum for debate about the development of planning policy and practice) and for various positions on the National Executive Committees; Regional Management Boards and Regional Activities Committees.
