Young Planner of the Year Award 2010

The award is now open for entries - the search is on for the brightest young planners in the profession. If you are 35 or younger, have already achieved a lot in your career, promise even more for the future and think you could be a role model for other planners, make sure you submit your nomination before the closing date of 27 September. Planners can nominate themselves but nominations will also be accepted from employers, colleagues or friends. To see the entry criteria and submit your nomination please visit www.rtpiplanningawards.com. A maximum of 5 candidates will be shortlisted in October and voting will open in December.

What's on in your area?

There is a young planner representative in each region and nation (often supported by a group of local young planners) who organises events for young planners. Some areas also have their own newsletter. Each regional or national group is part of the YPN but also linked to its RTPI Region or Nation. Most groups correspond directly to the RTPI Regions and Nations, but some are sub-regional or cross boundary.
