Emma Lancaster

Emma is a chartered town planner with experience in both the public and private sectors, where she has dealt with schemes for large scale residential development, commercial and mixed used schemes, infrastructure (including nationally significant infrastructure projects), tourism uses and major renewable energy. She is currently an Associate at Quod, having recently moved from Spawforths, where she represented a diverse range of clients and was responsible for promoting sites through the Local Plans process, planning applications and appeals, as well as preparation and project management of Environmental Impact Assessments. Before moving to Spawforths, she led the Strategic Development Management Team at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, where she was involved with a number of major projects, including the mixed-use development at Flemingate in Beverley, the Goole Fields Windfarm and the Beverley Southern Relief Road.

Emma is the 2016 RTPI Young Planner of the Year and was the previous Chair of YORnet, the Region's network for young built environment professionals. She is also the Young Planners representative on the APC Advisory Panel.
