The urban-rural challenge: planning for in-between spaces (ref. 1304)
Wednesday 17 April, Leeds
The rural hinterland of our conurbations and major towns is controversial for planners, where traditional rural issues are even more difficult to address. How do planners resolve the competing pressures of Green Belts, growth, the traditional rural economy and urban expansion in this highly contested space?
This conference is being organised by Leeds Metropolitan University on behalf of the RTPI Yorkshire Conference Series.
Concessions and free student places available.
