
The joint committee Regional Management Board (RMB) and the Regional Activities Committee (RAC) represents the regional membership and delivers a range of services. The RMB sets the business plan for the region whilst together with the RAC they deliver with the Regional Coordinator a range of activities to benefit members including conferences, policy updates, future planners initiatives, commissioning research, organising interprofessional networking opportunities as well as raising the profile of planning.

Nominations and Elections for the 2018 Committee are now closed
To join the Regional Management Board or the Regional Activities Committee you will need to complete a nomination form. Nominations open again in July 2018 for the 2019 committee and board.
The Board can however co-opt a member at anytime during the existing committee year. Please contact the Regional Coordinator.
Annual General Meeting - 25 April May 2018, Bristol
The Principal role of the AGM is to consider and endorse the Annual Report of the RTPI South West relating to the year 2017 for submission to the National Institute. It is an opportunity for members to question the RTPI South West officers on the year activities and finances. The AGM will take place before lunch during the conference. Special Business General Meeting - 8 November 2018, Taunton
The principal purpose of the SBGM is to report on the results of the Elections to the 2018 RTPI SW Regional Management Board and Regional Activities Committee and to appoint any new committee members to fill any vacancies at the meeting. The SPGM will take place before lunch during the conference. RTPI Members are welcome to attend the SPGM element for free. Please register attendance to Charlotte.Daborn@rtpi.org.uk
Working Groups
To support the RMB and RAC 6 Working Groups have been established to prioritise projects and activity planning. You do not need to be a member of the RMB or RAC and so any RTPI Member is welcome to join. Meetings take place in Taunton and through email opening up this opportunity to members throughout the South West.
