RESULTS OF THE RTPI SW PLANNING ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS 2010

The RTPI SW is pleased to announce the overall winner of the RTPI SW Planning Achievement Awards 2010 as Bournemouth Borough Council for its Boscombe Spa Village Regeneration Scheme, which has transformed the Boscombe sea front. The high quality of the completed work included the refurbishment of the Overstrand building and the Grade II listed Boscombe pier, as well as a major new housing development on a key cliff-side site and refurbishment of the nearby Boscombe Chine Gardens.

Presentation of these and other ‘commendation’ awards in this annual competition to mark and  celebrate outstanding work took place on Monday 24 January 2011 in the Urban Reef Restaurant, the Overstrand, Boscombe.
