We provide a range of services for our members in the South West. As well as offering affordable seminars and events for professional development, we arrange social events, keep you up to date through newsletters and provide local information and networking opportunities.

  • RTPI SW Policy Project Officer Updates

    See Geoff Walker's regular updates on planning policy and issues that impact upon the Region.  A great way of keeping on top of all the up to date news/issues in the Region. 

  • RTPI SW Annual Dinner 2013

    The RTPI SW Annual Dinner 2013 will take place on Friday 14th June 2013 at the Somerset County Cricket Club in Taunton.  With after dinner speaker, Kelvin MacDonald - "A View to a Skill".  Tickets for this four course, black tie dinner are only £40 (which includes drinks reception and wine on the table - incredible value!).  Come along and join friends and colleagues in a lovely setting.  See attached flier for further details.

    The RTPI SW is pleased to announce the results of the 2013 RTPI SW “Awards for Planning Excellence”. The revised title replaces the “Planning Achievement Awards” in line with the change in name of the National Awards. In order to be considered for an AWARD or COMMENDATION in the two RTPI SW categories of “Schemes on the Ground” or “Other Planning Work”, a submission must be assessed as an example of “Planning Excellence in the South West”.
