RIBA Awards 2012 North East

Two North East projects feature in the national list of 2012 RIBA award winners: the Toffee Factory, in Newcastle, winner of the RIBA Regional Sustainability Award and the Building of the Year Award, and Roseberry Park, Middlesbrough, winner of the RIBA Regional Client of the Year Award.

In addition four projects have won 2012 Hadrian Awards (RIBA NE Regional Awards): the Institute of Transplantation, Newcastle; the Theatre Royal, Newcastle (Winner of the RIBA Regional Conservation Award); Sleeperz Hotel (also in Newcastle); and West Oak Farm, Broomley, Northumberland.
