It’s fun, and strengthening your own professional networks will help your career prospects and give you extra insights into your day-to-day tasks.   • Annual Dinner Dance and Awards Presentation Evening

    Over 130 RTPI members and guests packed the mezzanine suite of Newcastle's International Centre for Life on 5 October for one of RTPI's best-attended functions in recent years. More information here

     

  • North East News now available

    The winter 2012 edition of the regional newsletter RTPI North East News has recently been sent out to all members in the region. If you haven't seen it, you can access a copy here.This edition contains the results of this year's committee elections,  David Cullingford is 2013 Chairman and there are a number of new faces click this link to check out the full report

  • RTPI North East 2012 Awards

    Northumberlandia is the winner of the 2012 RTPI NE Chair's Award for Rural Planning, while other main award winners are the Toffee Factory and Newcastle's Developer Guidance Notes. Commendations go to Bolam Coyne, Byker, and the Chapter House, All Saints Church, Cleadon. More detail about all the entrants to this year's regional awards scheme are given in the Judges' Report.

  • Six-a-Side Football Competition

    Forget the Europa League, the date for RTPI North East's annual Football Extravaganza is approaching! Monday 14 January will once again see the Fabian Gray Memorial Shield awarded to the winners of our annual 6-a-side tournament. For more information contact northeast@rtpi.org.uk as soon as possible. Advance payment is essential.
