Regional Activities Committee (RAC)

The Regional Activities Committee assists with activities arranged for members of the Region, including events, newsletters, media coverage, awards and other activities.

We are very pleased to advise that David Potter has been co-opted on to the RAC until the end of 2013.

Erica Whettingsteel resigned from the RAC in January 2013.

Vacancies on the Committee

There remains the following vacancies and, under the Region's Rules, the Regional Management Board/Regional Activities Committee can co-opt during the year to fill these vacancies if deemed appropriate:

• 2 vacancies for Licentiate/Student members to serve for one year from 1 January 2013
• 1 vacancy for a Technical member to serve for two years from 1 January 2013

4 Chartered Members of the Committee decided not to stand again: Richard Chillingford, Tony Barker, Philip Isbell and Eiluned Morgan. In addition, 4 Licentiate/Student Members decided not to stand again: Simon Atha, Matt Breeze, Phil Grant and Jo Hobbs. We would like to thank them all for the work, dedication and expertise provided during their time on the Committee and, in particular, Richard Chillingford who was the Honorary Secretary for many years and has given the RTPI East of England an extraordinary amount of time and service. His absence on the Committee will be sorely felt.
