The RTPI is celebrating its Centenary in 2014.
We are very grateful to our colleagues at Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation who will be kindly hosting our main event on Thursday 15 May 2014. Letchworth's fascinating history will be explored, as the world's first Garden City.
We are considering producing a timeline across the Region, starting in Letchworth and including Bury St Edmunds, Northstowe, Basildon and Harlow. What do you think of this suggestion? Can you help in any way?
Other suggestions so far received include: a high profile Annual Lecture; a poll by RTPI members on the top 10 planning achievements in the East of England region; an exhibition of all RTPI Regional Planning Achievement Award winners.
