South West Young Planners

The Young Planners' Network was set up by the RTPI to provide a focus for all planning students, RTPI Student members and younger corporate members (under the age of 35) throughout the UK and Ireland. Each region has a Young Planners' Representative, and James Holbrook has been the South West Representative since October 2006. One of his roles involves trying to organise a number of events in 2009 to facilitate networking within the region.

Marketing yourself workshop

The 'Marketing Yourself Workshop' is a FREE one day course developed by the Construction Industry Council in response to the rising number of recession hit construction professionals who either have been made redundant or who have recently graduated and are unable to find a job. To be held on 25 February in Bristol. See the flier for more information.

Future Events

We are intending to hold further events throughout 2010 and therefore if you consider that you may be able to help organise an event in your part of the region, or you may have views as to how the South West could become more active then please do not hesitate to contact James.
