Do you want to share your passion for the environment and inspire a new generation? Then let RTPI SW help you to do it with a £50 grant!
RTPI SW is encouraging individual members to continue to organise and facilitate environmental education events in schools and youth groups by offering ten £50 grants.
The RTPI is exceptionally proud of the environmental education work undertaken by its members. Members have exercised great creativity and enthusiasm, which has helped to inspire younger generations and indulge their natural passion for environmental issues. In doing so you have helped promote a wider understanding of planning’s role in shaping our environment.
RTPI SW is aware that cost can be a barrier to getting involved, particularly in the current economic climate. The grant is but one means of supporting our membership, the future of our profession and the aims of the RTPI. Resources are available on the RTPI website – see the Manual for Schools 2004, Manual for Planners 2007and RTPI SW’s own collection of case studiesfor a bit of inspiration.
