RTPI North West
RTPI North West promotes planning as a profession and builds links with other built environment professions and organisations throughout the North West. We offer members a programme of affordable seminars and events to assist with their continuing professional development requirements, and also publish a regular newsletter for members.
Over 2,200 planners from central, regional and local government, private consultancies, the education sector and other organisations are members of RTPI North West. We welcome the views and opinions of all our members, and we are always looking for volunteers to help with running our programmes.

RTPI North West / WOMEN IN PROPERTY SPA DAY 2012
This is the first joingt RTPI and Women in Property Newtworking Event and is to be held at Ribby Hall Village Spa Hotel on Friday the 23rd March 2012. The event will start at 1.30pm with a two course lunch and brief talk from Paul Harrison, the owner of the complex, who will brief us on his vision for the area. This will be followed by a luxurious "aqua thermal journey". This includes use of the aroma room, aroma steam room, saunarium, Balinese salt inhalation room, herbal sauna, outdoor rustic sauna, Roman pedidarium, tepidarium, outdoor spa pool, hydrotherapy pool and monsoon showers.

RTPI North West Golf Day 2012
This years event will once again be held at Mottram Hall, Cheshire on Friday 15th June 2012. For details and booking please download the flyer. Please book early to avoid disapointment as last years event was fully booked.
The event follows on from the successful in 2011 when despite a poor weather forecast, the rain held off to allow Kieron Shenton (Emery Planning) to take the overall winner with 38 points (narrowly beating Steve Harris), nearest the pin went to Graeme McGaffney (Kirby Estates) and Peter Blair (Royal Haskoning) took prize for longest drive.

RTPI North West Annual Dinner 2012
This years event, the regions 5th annual dinner, will be held at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel on Peter Street in Manchester on Friday 5th October 2012.
The key note speaker is Ann Widdecombe. Ann had a formidable reputation in parliament and remains relentlessly outspoken. Her political career included both Ministerial and Shadow positions before she decided to make her presence felt from the back benches. Away from Westminster, Ann is devoting more time to her interests outside party politics - after fronting documentaries on prostitution, truancy, girl gangs and cosmetic surgery. She also continues to publish novels.
Sponsorship opportunities are available on request. Tables of 10 are £650 plus vat with individual tickets available for £65 plus vat.

Five-a-Side Football Tournament 2012
The annual Five-a-Side Football Tournament will take place on Saturday 19th May 2012 at Bolton Powerleague (Leverhulme Park), and is kindly sponsored by WYG.
For the 2011 event 10 teams competed and made it a fun, successful day. The winners were Curtins Consulting. TEP were runners up. The Best player was Vinnie Haughton (Curtins) and Best Keeper - Mike Smith (Watermans).
This years event costs £42 (inclusive of vat) per team of each with a maximum of seven players, with five on the pitch at any one time. At least two players must be members of RTPI. The cost includes food (pie and peas) referee, match balls, scoreboards/ fixtures, bibs, and first aid).
