Volunteer

As the part of the RTPI that gets to the heart of planning with communities, PAE is delighted to be relaunching its volunteering service, ensuring the volunteers are at the core of what we do – and offering a wider range of opportunities to get involved!

Our 8 Outreach Co-ordinators provide a conduit for volunteers to support a range of planning based workshops to a range of groups within the top 20% of deprived communities across England. In order to deliver this volunteer led service, we will need a whole range of people.

There are also opportunities for volunteers to help us provide our advice line, email and web resource services – along with helping to promote the whole service within your own organisations and/or area. Alternatively you could become a casework volunteer, supporting eligible individuals or groups with planning related matters – or help our London based Planning Advisors in distributing cases to relevant volunteers. For more information about the kind of roles available, click here.

Previous volunteers who filled in our commitment review which ended in July, should have heard from their local contact by now and will be on our database. Some volunteer update events have already happened. For upcoming dates, click here.

If you have volunteered for Planning Aid before but missed the commitment review – don’t worry, you can still get involved. Alternatively, if you are a new volunteer – now is your chance to get started. Just click here, fill in the form and submit your details.
