Planning Aid England also advise local authorities and others involved in the development of community consultation - particularly in relation to hard to reach groups.

Many local authorities have sought advice from us on how to make planning documents and notification letters to be more user friendly, and encourage greater involvement, especially from those who would not normally be involved with the planning system. 

We are available to local planning authorities, community and voluntary organisations and Citizens’Advice Bureau to talk about our work, and the importance of getting local communities involved in planning.
