Planning Aid England also advise local authorities and others involved in the development of community consultation - particularly in areas of greatest deprivation.

Many local authorities have sought our advice on ways to make planning documents and notification letters more user friendly and encourage greater involvement, particularly relating to those not usually getting involved in the planning system. 

We are available to local planning authorities, community and voluntary organisations and Citizens’Advice Bureau to talk about our work, and the importance of getting local communities involved in planning.
