Environmental education is an important part of our work. Planning Aid England helps adults and children understand particular issues, such as climate change and sustainability, or the key planning issues facing their local area.

Our community planners help groups to understand using a range of different activities. Recently these have included:

• Running projects with community groups on sustainable development
• Working with groups of all ages to look at their own area and make a difference
• Developing specific planning modules for adult learners
• Writing packs and work programmes for primary schools on the importance of planning
• Organising educational projects for all age groups
• Case studies
