North East Young Planners

North East YPs photoThe North East Young Planners is a sub-group of the Young Planners’ Network, attached to the North East Region, with the aim to provide a platform for young planners to share ideas and friendship.

About us

The group is run, voluntarily, by a steering group of young planners for benefit of young planners. As we are a relatively new group we are always on the look out for ideas and help so if you’d like to give us a hand please get in touch with the Region. The steering group is a very open group with no set positions; we meet at an office on the Quayside then go off for a drink afterwards so please do come along.

All young planners, whether student or working, are welcome to our events. You don’t even need to be ‘young’ just ‘young at heart’. We encourage everyone to get involved with our activities just come along to the next event, which you'll see advertised on the events page or contact the Region to be put on a mailing list.

The group is organising a wide variety of social and educational events including study tours, pub get-togethers and seminars! So come along get involved, learn something and have fun!

Our next event

Tunnels, Tall Tales and a Toffee Factory
