Change in circumstances

In every career there are times where circumstances change and you need to make changes to your membership.

Retiring

If you are retiring from professional practice but want to stay in touch with whats happening in the planning world and keep in touch with your colleagues, you can transfer your membership to the Retired class.

Resigning /Career break

If you have changed professions or wish to take a break from planning you can resign from your membership using the Resignation Form. If you decide to rejoin, you will have to demonstrate that you have maintained your CPD for a two year period and pay a re-instatement fee. If you wish to discuss your situation with the Membership team, please contact us on 0207 929 9462 or membership@rtpi.org.uk

Re-joining

Past members can re-join the RTPI at their previous member class at any time. You will need to complete the Application to Re-instate RTPI Membership and provide evidence of two years CPD. The current Re-Instatement fee is £50 and you must pay any outstanding arrears in membership fees.
