Using the RTPI logo, your membership designation and post-nominal letters is a simple and effective way to promote your professional status.
RTPI logos
To make using the logo as easy as possible, we have created member logos which include the relevant designation, for example Chartered Town Planner, Fellow and Associate Member. This makes it simple for members to use the logo without needing a separate line of text, and makes your relationship with the RTPI clear to members of the public and potential clients.

Planning consultants
As a planning consultant, using the RTPI logo is an important way to promote your business. When employing a Chartered Town Planner, clients can be assured their planning consultant has a high level education in planning and appropriate experience in planning practice, updated throughout their working lives through Continuing Professional Development (CPD). All this is backed up by professional indemnity insurance and the RTPI's Code of Conduct.
Practices that employ more than one Chartered Town Planner are entitled to refer to the firm as a whole as "Chartered Town Planners" and there is a practice logo available.

Planning consultants may also find membership of RTPI's Independant Consultants Network and the support it offers useful. The RTPI Directory of Planning Consultants is only open to Chartered Town Planners, making it a reliable source of help and support for anyone looking for professional help on planning issues. The RTPI offers a wide range of consultancy information and support for members.
