Get involved

The RTPI encourages all of our members to get involved in the Institute's activities. Becoming an active member of the RTPI is your opportunity to shape the work of the RTPI, to help widen the reach of planning, to give your profession a voice and it can even help further your career.

There are opportunities for all RTPI members, regardless of your level of experience or the stage that you are at in your planning career. The RTPI is a complex organisation with many different committees, structures and policies. Members can undertake a range of roles including mentoring new Licentiate members, chairing one of our Regional or National Committees or volunteering with Planning Aid England.

How can I get more involved with the RTPI and planning profession?

These are just some of the ways that you can become more involved with the work of the RTPI.
