We offer a range of information for those thinking of consultancy as well as existing consultants who manage their own practice. This includes information on fee rates, PII, risk management, terms of business, using the RTPI logo and small business management information.

planning in the public sector

Planning reform and public finances add to the challenges facing members employed within planning services. We aim to feature articles and information on a range of issues, including job evaluation, improvement, and survey results.

The RTPI's policy and practice webpages contain a wealth of information and signposting to the latest practice advice.

Every year the Planners in the Workplace service responds to 100s of calls and emails from members throughout the UK and Ireland. We monitor our performance, and are always on the look out for ways to improve the service provided. The following table shows member satisfaction responses for 2011.
