RTPI and the Research Excellence Framework

The Research Excellence Framework has been the subject of extensive discussion and consultation. In preparing its response to the 2009 consultation, the RTPI invited views from all members and, in particular, the RTPI Education and Lifelong Learning Committee and the Planning Education and Research Network. It has also benefited from discussion of the proposals with other learned societies in the Academy of Social Sciences and with the Heads of Planning Schools.
