Individual Membership
Membership of the Academy of Social Sciences is a measure of esteem of the contribution made by an individual to the excellence and promotion of the social sciences. All nominations are closely scrutinized by peer review. Academicians use the post-nominal letters 'AcSS' and are able to be involved in various Academy activities aimed at supporting the social sciences. They receive the Academy journal, a monthly e-Bulletin and preferential rates for conferences.
