"I just wanted to thank you for organising a really interesting visit yesterday which included having the time not only to see the work but also to talk with people who had such an involvement in these projects." (feedback from network member)
Network discussions are small, short, roundtable meetings, with one or two speakers, and are designed to allow plenty of time for questions and debate.
Study visits involve going to see a site, place or building (such as our visit to Cardiff Bay, in the photo, right) as well as hearing a presentation and participating in a discussion.
Both are held at locations around the UK, at various times of the day and are usually free to attend.

RTPI events
I'd like to host a visit or debate...
We're dependent on network member volunteers to host visits or lead discussions. We're only able to organise meetings and visits if network members get involved, so if you would like to help out please contact me.
How to organise a Regeneration Network discussion or visit (pdf, 44 kb)
I'm interested in the topic but can't make the date. How can I catch up?
A briefing note is produced afterwards, which network members can access in the members' area of the Network's website, along with presentations and any additional follow-up materials.
CPD
Depending on your personal development plan, these may provide continuing professional development (CPD). More information about CPD and how the RTPI measures it.
