About the Regeneration Network

The mission of the Regeneration Network is recognition of the positive contribution that planning makes to delivering successful regeneration in the UK.

The Regeneration Network is intended to be more a "club" than a mailing list. It is active, and very much reliant on the voluntary input of members.

We have an advisory group and a network manager, who work to an annual action plan. Members can read the action plan in the members' area, along with the latest Network monitoring report.

Aims and objectives

The Regeneration Network aims to recognise the positive contribution that planning makes to delivering successful regeneration in the UK. It enables planners and other regeneration practitioners to network and learn from each other.

The Network is a way for members to exchange information and so increase their effectiveness in practice.

The Network's objectives are to:

  • Promote the interests of planners and planning in regeneration
  • Share members knowledge and expertise by participating in Network activities
  • Deliver Network activities and services that are relevant to members involved or interested in all aspects of regeneration
  • Work across borders, sharing good practice in regeneration across all regions and nations
