Whether you are self employed or managing a small practice, we offer fee guidance notes on a wide range of key small business areas, including business & finance, human resource, IT, and marketing. We've also teamed up with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and RTPI members have free access to their extensive range of management guidance.

This RTPI Network provides weekly email bulletins on a wide range of RTPI topics of interest to independent consultants. It also offers a unique small business news update. For details of all RTPI professional networks please click here.

All members offering consultancy advice need to hold PII cover. We provide an overview of PII with details of the RTPI's PII regulations, including the contact details of four leading PII brokers. We also offer information on risk management, including details of claims made against planning consultants, and run off cover, insurance designed for retiring consultants.

Whether you are reviewing your own terms, or are starting your own practice and need to draw up a standard terms of business, we provide some guidance on what to include. These Terms have been approved by the RTPI's Conduct and Discipline Panel.
