Results of Elections for Junior Vice-President, Board of Trustees and General Assembly

Junior Vice-President
Once the allocation using the Single Transferable Vote system had been employed, Cath Ranson received 1149 votes to become Junior Vice-President for 2012. Kevin Murray was in second place, followed by Andrew Taylor and David Marshall. Cath will become President of the Institute in 2014 – the year of the Institute’s centenary. More than 70% of those who voted did so electronically rather than receiving a paper ballot.

Board of Trustees Corporate Members
Janet O’Neill, David Marshall and Phil Williams are elected for 2012 and 2013.

Board of Trustees Young Planner
Wayne Reynolds is elected for 2012 and 2013.

Board of Trustees Regions and Nations representative
Martin Taylor is elected for 2012 and 2013.

Board of Trustees Associations representative
Don Alder is elected for 2012 and 2013.

Honorary Officers
The Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Solicitor & Secretary posts are filled by election at the General Assembly in the October of the previous year.

At the meeting of General Assembly meeting on 19 October, Graham Stallwood was confirmed as the new Honorary Treasurer and Pat Thomas, planning lawyer, as the new Honorary Solicitor and Secretary.
