Planning and the Welsh Language

This year’s RTPI Cymru's Eisteddfod seminar discussed planning and the Welsh Language. The Welsh Government recently consulted on an updated Technical Advice Note 20 (TAN20: Planning and the Welsh Language) and this consultation has highlighted a range of issues associated with this area of planning. The RTPI Cymru response is available to download. The seminar heard from practitioners involved with advising on planning and its impact on the Welsh language and Welsh speaking communities.
