The ESPON 2013 Database is now online

This database provides fundamental regional information (NUTS 3, NUTS 2, NUTS 1 and NUTS 0) provided by ESPON projects and EUROSTAT. The data and indicators cover the entire European Union plus Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. Access the database using Firefox or Opera web browsers only at this stage.

UK represented at the EC’s High-Level Panel on the Measurement of Innovation

Dr Ammon Salter, Research Director of the UK Innovation Resource Centre, has been appointed to the European Commission's High-Level Panel on the Measurement of Innovation. The panel will advise on indicators to measure Europe's progress towards a more innovative economy, capturing research and innovation performance in EU member states.
