Europe 2020 and Territorial Development
Europe 2020 is the EU’s strategy for recovery. The Lisbon Agenda was adopted ten years ago by the 15 EU countries. It sought to make Europe the world’s leading knowledge economy by 2010. It failed. It’s easier to talk the talk than walk the walk. Read article by Cliff Hague.
RSA Annual International Conference in Hungary - Papers
The Regional Studies Association aims at promoting education in the field of regional studies, stimulating and aiding studies and research into regional planning, development and functions. The UK Climate Impacts Programme (UKCIP) was established in 1997 to help co-ordinate scientific research into the impacts of climate change, and to help organisations adapt to those unavoidable impacts.
