RTPI Planning Awards 2010

From well over 100 entries received from all over the UK, we are pleased to announce that the short list for the 2010 RTPI Planning Awards has now been selected. The judges will be conducting site visits to all shortlisted entries over the summer. The awards presentation will take place in February 2011.

The judges this year are:
Professor Chris Couch, previously Head of the School of Planning at Liverpool John Moores University
Leonora Rozee, recently retired as Deputy Chief Executive of the Planning Inspectorate
Kay Powell, previously secretary of the National Planning Forum

globe 7 imageThere is not a climate change category this year. Instead the judging criteria have been amended to include a criteria on "How the submission adapts to, or mitigates against the threats posed by climate change, as raised in the RTPI’s seven commitments on climate change".
