Decisions have been made at the ESPON Monitoring Committee Meeting last week and bidders are currently being approached directly by the ESPON Coordination Unit with news on their projects.

Marine (Scotland) Bill approved by Parliament
Scotland has two thirds of the UK's seas, a fifth of European Union waters and 100 ports. The Bill allows the creation of plans for the purposes of guiding marine development and creates Marine Protected Areas. This might be of interest to those interested in applying to the ESPON applied research project European Seas in Territorial Development which will be re-launched later this year.
