Assessment of Professional Competence discussed in Suffolk

02-Dec-09

Ipswich Borough Council’s offices at Grafton House were the location for an event on the Assessment of Professional Competence on 29 September. Tracey Lloyd, Head of Membership & Careers at the RTPI, gave a presentation outlining the key points to successfully complete the APC process. Tracey emphasised the importance of keeping a concise, accurate and up to date log book. It was advised time should also be focused on the submission statement, in particular giving each section the appropriate level of attention. Young planners who had travelled from Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and within Suffolk then had the opportunity to ask questions and a good discussion followed.
