New ESPON Calls Launched on 16 September

UK researchers in the academic and private sectors now have until 11 November to submit proposals for new spatial analysis projects under the ESPON 2013 programme. Public authorities are also invited to put forward expressions of interest in future research specifically tailored to meet their own needs within the EU context.

The available budget is 14.91 million Euro, with some individual projects worth up to 1 million Euro. Key new areas of work include urban form, attractiveness for tourism, secondary growth poles, innovation, spatial analysis of maritime activities and resources and territorial indicators.
