The RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute) is the largest professional institute for planners worldwide with more than 22,000 members. It is a dynamic organization which promotes spatial planning and develops and shapes policy affecting the built environment while working to raise professional standards and supporting its members through continuous education, training and development.

RSL (RTPI Services Ltd) is a wholly owned trading subsidiary of RTPI which generates revenue through a variety of activities including publishing, conferences and events

We are currently looking for one or two interns for a period of 3 – 6 months to support key programmes within RTPI and RSL.

These roles are an ideal opportunity for recent Business graduates looking for first hand experience of working within a vibrant professional organization and would involve offering support to the Institute’s teams in the key areas of:

- Business analysis and support for business planning

- Researching opportunities for, and supporting the development of, additional revenue streams for RSL

- Investigating possible sources of funding to support significant volunteer programmes

 These positions are unpaid but we are able to offer travel and lunch expenses.

 The RTPI is based in London and has offices in Scotland, Wales, Ireland and several of the English regions. These positions would be based in London and may involve some travel.
