Book reviewers wanted
We are looking for two enthusiastic reviewers for the following books:
1) Fostering Mutual Benefits in Cross-Border Areas (2008). This research, focused on fostering mutual benefits through cross-border cooperation border towns and villages, has been carried out by the International Centre for Local and Regional Development (ICLRD) as part of their core research programme for the period 2007-2008.
2) The Atlas of the Island of Ireland – Mapping Social and Economic Change (2008). This book by Gleeson et al. provides for the first time a set of full colour, detailed maps and cartograms for a range of variables across the whole island of Ireland. Such maps have traditionally been difficult to produce because data are often incompatible due to differences in data collection across jurisdictions. The Atlas provides a fascinating insight into population, housing, transport and the economy across the island and how these have changed since 1991.
The reviews will be posted on the ESPON UK Network website. Please contact us for further details if you are interested.
