RTPI membership

Have you considered joining the RTPI, perhaps as a technical member? Technical Membership of the RTPI recognises the contribution made by skilled and experienced enforcement, technical or administrative staff to planning. Upon election to this class, members can use the designation TechRTPI after their names. Find out more.

RTPI governance

Two places are available for RTPI Technical Members on the General Assembly, which is the debating chamber of the Institute, meeting quarterly throughout the year in London and elsewhere.  These members are elected by the technical membership of the Institute.  Find out more

RTPI policy

The RTPI aims to lead policy debates, establish new approaches and influence the policies of others. The policy team keeps the development of planning legislation and policy under review and ensures the consistent application of RTPI policy on a wide range of topics. Find out about current policy work and how to get involved.
